Lisa Artista Burnham:
"I express how the elements of the earth, land, air, sea, and sky are all part of the rhythms of Mother Earth. I feel that if we can learn to feel those rhythms, we can create space for our true selves to emerge, through art-making, we can connect to something greater than ourselves, something timeless and eternal, we can quiet the chatter of our minds. It is in this space of connection and alignment that our creativity truly flourishes, allowing us to express ourselves authentically and connect with others on a deeper level."
Artistic Xpressions is the right-brain child of Lisa Artista Burnham;
A visual artist and photographer. Lisa has achieved a lot over the years, including a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design in Glass and Ceramics and a Master's Degree in Fine Art in Sculpture from San Jose State University in California. Specializing in working with children, Lisa has also taught in many schools and held numerous workshops for adults in everything from glass art to painting on silk. She has been teaching art for over 30 years to all ages and stages in all types of art forms. Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Lisa and her husband raised their kids in San Francisco, California.
Lisa has been living full-time in Costa Rica for 10 years.
